ストイックにウルトラのシーズンを迎えるつもりです

4月に入って、週末はロング走中心の調整です。2週間続けて、ひとりで38キロ走でした。土曜日に26キロ走ったので、この週末は64キロ。昨シーズンはあまりこんな練習していなかったなあ。

今月累計は124キロ。体重は72.6キロ（まだかなり重い）。

6月のサロマ100キロは2007年の初出場以来、通算6回目の挑戦となります。最初の4年はかなりストイックに練習したつもりだったけど、最近2年はどうもフルのおまけみたいな感じになっていました。

2010年に途中リタイアの悲哀を味わい、昨年は完走したといっても70キロ以降は大幅なスピードダウンでした。今年は5回目の完走を目指します。

つい先月、仕事の一環で走った京都マラソンで、38キロで足が止まってしまいました。スピード走だけでなく、ゆったり走るロング走も25キロ以上はしてこなかったから当然の報いだったのかもしれません。

今年は少しストイックにウルトラの準備を進めたいと思っています。同じスピードで最後まで100キロを走りきること。サブテンは難しいかもしれないけど、10時間半は切りたい。

3年前まではできていたことに、改めて挑むサロマチャレンジになりそうです。
